RE/MAX Destiny Opens Collection Office  in Boston’s South End.

Boston, MA– September 24, 2015 – RE/MAX INTEGRA, New England is pleased to announce that RE/MAX Destiny has opened a new RE/MAX Collection office located in Boston’s South End at 55 Waltham Street. The office is owned and operated by Broker/Owner Paul Turcotte and marks his third RE/MAX Collection office, joining locations in Cambridge and Jamaica Plain.

New England Housing Report for July

Natick, MA – August 19, 2015 – The residential market in New England flourished in July, with all six New England states experiencing impressive double-digit growth in sales year-over-year. Throughout the region, sales are up 17.8%, pending sales are up 19.9% and average days on market is down 9.7%.
21,108 home sales were recorded in July, accounting for over 22% of this year’s total transactions. The region experienced a modest 2.4% increase in sales over June 2015, and has been climbing each month since February.
“As expected, sales in New England have continued to grow throughout the summer months,” said Dan Breault, EVP/Regional Director of RE/MAX INTEGRA, New England. “The market has continued to favor buyers over the spring and summer seasons with months supply of inventory increasing in each state since January of this year.”

Where the market is taking off.

Is the housing market back on track? More deals closed this September than in any September since 2005, according to real estate tracking firm The Warren Group. Foreclosures are down all over, and prices are up almost everywhere, too. Eric Berman of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors ex- plains why: “Inventory is low, interest rates are low, and the economy’s better, so we have qualified buyers. We’re moving in the right direction.” Looking at the percent increase in median sale prices between the first nine months of 2012 and 2013, you can see which neighborhoods are really heating up.

Big Max Returns For Rides At May Fair

RE/MAX Balloon on Cambridge COmmonCome join the festivities in Harvard Square on Sunday May 5th.  This will be RE/MAX Destiny’s sixth year as sponsors of the event.  This year we are handing out red, white and blue beads and stuffed animals to those who stop by our booth next to Curious George at the corner of JFK ad Brattle Streets. from there we will be heading to the Common to set up for hot air balloon rides at 4:30.  The set up is fun to watch.  Your welcome to participate if you would like to join us.

The rides will be from 5:00 to 7:00, weather permitting, on the Cambridge Common across from the Sheraton Hotel on Garden Street.   The winds tend to be the biggest concern at this time of the year. We will be requesting donations for rides with proceeds going to Our Place Center for Homeless Children and CHAF, The Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund.

The rides are first come first served with a line forming during set up at 4:30. So get there early to get an opportunity to ride the seven story RE/MAX balloon.  Hope to see you there.
